Velvelyne est un caractère typo-bio-mécanique, pensé pour le site de Velvetyne.

Son squelette a été conçu par un script imaginé par Benjamin Dumond. Répondant à l'orchestration de Raphaël Bastide, les formes ont germé du caractère Liberation Sans. Manon Van der Borght et Mariel Nils ont ensuite pris soin de ce squelette, jusqu'à ce qu'il développe branches, fibres, et assume ses excroissances. Dans sa poussée, il s'est étendu en 4 graisses, des ligatures post-binaires et une poignée de pictogrammes.

Manon et Mariel vous proposent, le temps d'un atelier de s'amuser avec ces formes et de concevoir le spécimen de ce caractère, diffusé sur Velvetyne très bientôt, sous licence CUTE.

Velvelyne is a bio-mechanical typeface designed for the Velvetyne website.

Its skeleton was conceived through a script imagined by Benjamin Dumond. Under the orchestration of Raphaël Bastide, the forms sprouted from the Liberation Sans typeface. Manon Van der Borght and Mariel Nils then nurtured this skeleton until it developed branches, fibers, and embraced its excrescences. During its growth, it expanded into 4 weights, post-binary ligatures, and a handful of pictograms.

Manon and Mariel invite you to join them for a workshop to have fun with these shapes and create the specimen for this typeface, which will be released very soon on Velvetyne under the CUTE license. Please note that this will be a predominantly French-speaking event.
